Happy Halloween!

Yeah! It's finally Halloween!!! I woke up ready to go trick-or-treating this morning at 7am, but mommy and daddy made me wait until 11 o'clock. I LOVE my cinderella princess dress from Mor-Mor, and Emily was such a cute little ladybug.

-Abby

Come on daddy... I can't wait to show Mister Al my princess costume!

We went so early, half the neighborhood was still in their PJ's!!! Don't they know a 2-year-old lives on the block and can't wait?!

Emily puked all over her costume at the very first house...

Three houses later I was all done and ready to go home and check out all my loot... M&M's are my favorite!

Kit kat's aren't too bad either!

Emily was checking it all out too...

Happy Halloween everyone... now bring on the Christmas tree (I've been talking about this for weeks!!!)

Here's a video of me giving my favorite neighbor some candy ( I was very excited and had had a little too much candy already myself)!:

Autumn fun!

Uncle Ry-Ry and I helped daddy out by raking up some leaves, and he made a big pile for me to jump in! Autumn is really SO cool...

-Abby

Mommy says this is a classic Emily shot:

Emily didn't exactly love it when she fell down in the leaf pile...

Pumpkin carving

I've never carved a pumpkin before, and ever since learning the letter "J" in school for "Jack-o-lantern", I've been talking about it nonstop. Well, today was my day! We set ourselves up outside (mommy thought it might be messy for some reason), and I got to help carve our pumpkins!

-Abby

Mommy had a hard time cutting through Emily's pumpkin:

At first, I thought the inside of the pumpkin was really yucky...

...but then, I LOVED squishing it in my fingers!:

Mommy even let me paint my ugly pumpkin, and she said it even helped it a little bit:

I enjoyed painting myself too!:

I love teasing Uncle Ry-Ry:

Emily was very intrigued at mommy painting her hand for our special "sister" pumpkin:

But she sat pretty still, and it turned out great!:

Daddy was VERY good at pumpkin carving this year!:

He made Emily & I the coolest pumpkins on the block!:

Pumpkin Picking

Today was a beautiful fall day, so we took a family trip to the pumpkin farm to find the "perfect" one! We had so much fun on the hayride, picking pumpkins, feeding the animals at the petting zoo, and playing on all the hay attractions that were there! It was even more special this time because Uncle Ry-Ry got to come with us!

-Abby

Emily is SO much better at looking at the camera and smiling than I am these days...

Daddy always finds the best pumpkins...

My favorite pumpkin was a really ugly one that mommy said I could get as long as I carried it. I thought it was the perfect one!

Sisters are the best!

I LOVED the hay bale tunnel, feeding the horses, and climbing on the hay bale tower with daddy and Emily!

We had so much fun... I can't wait until next year to do it all again!

Another healthy check-up!

Mommy took me to the doctor this morning, and she said I'm doing great! I now weigh 15 pounds, 11 ounces (45%), I'm 25 1/2" tall (35%), and my head it 17" (70%)! I'm meeting all of my milestones, and melting mommy & daddy's hearts with my fun personality!

Uncle Ry-Ry is here!

My Uncle Ry-Ry flew all the way to my house on an airplane, just to see me, and to meet Emily! We've been having SO much fun together (even though it may not seem so in some of the pictures... I HATE smiling for the camera these days). The first day he was here, we took him to the zoo that he bought us a membership to, and even though there weren't alot of animals out, we had a great time!
-Abby

The zoo was setting up for their "Zoo Boo", so they had spooky stuff set up all over the place. I found these skulls laying on the ground, and I felt the need to straighten them up for them... I was just helping out!

After our trip to the zoo, we walked over to the park, and I had a blast with Ry-Ry... he's like a big kid!

This was Emily's first trip to the park, and she REALLY loved the swings!

Bathtime!

Mommy took me to the allergist today, and he said I'm not allergic to anything that he tested me for, and that I just have bad ezcema... the best thing he said was that I get to have a bath EVERYDAY before my rubdown with lotion. I LOVE bathtime! Mommy's been working really hard again, and it's looking pretty good!

6 months old!

I am growing up SO fast... can you believe I am already half a year old already?!?!? I just thought I'd share with everyone a little bit about my life right now:

* Things I like:
- Trying to sit up (I can do it for about 15 seconds now before folding over)!
- Rolling EVERYWHERE
- Playing on my play mat & pulling on all my toys
- Playing in my excersaucer (probably my FAVORITE place to be)
- Hanging out in my swing (not for too long though)
- Hanging out in the church nursery on Sunday's (now my sister is another story...)
- My binkies!
- Bathtime
-"Talking" all the time (although mommy says it's more like screaching)
- Smiling, laughing & being tickled
- Watching my big sister and my doggie play (I could watch them for hours)!
- I still love being swaddled when I sleep
- Putting everything in my mouth... especially my feet!
- Grabbing everyone's hair, glasses... whatever I can get my hands on.
- My mommy (I cry when she leaves the room now)!

* Things I don't like:
- When people don't pay attention to me!
- When mommy puts my cream on at night & all I want to do is eat & go to sleep!
- Being in the car for a long time
- Rice cereal (I just started it this week, but it's too bland for me... I much prefer bananas!)
- Getting stuck on my tummy

* I still puke about 100 times a day, and take my reflux medicine, but it doesn't slow me down!
* I still have bad excema, and get greased up 3 times a day... I'm pretty slippery these days!
* I am still VERY serious most of the time, and can win a staring contest with ANYONE... mommy says I'm going to be her serious, thinking child!
* I take 2-3 naps a day, for either 45 minutes OR 2 hours... mommy NEVER knows what I'm going to do!
* Most nights I go to sleep at 7:30pm, and get up between 4-6am to have a snack. Then it's back to sleep until 7:30 or so. Not too bad, right?!?!?

***************************************************************************
Mommy made me my very first 1/2 birthday cake today! Daddy requested carrot cake, and mommy figured since I couldn't eat it anyway, it would be fine... but I sure tried to get at it! I was so close too!

I love my big sister! She's going to LOVE watching me grow over the NEXT 6 months!

Our trip to the children's museum

This morning mommy, Emily & I went to the Children's Museum by our house to meet up with some of our MOMS club friends, and I had a great time! There were things to play with, things to climb on, and tons of dress up clothes too! Check out all the things there were to do there:

I LOVED trying on the tu-tu's and pretending to be a ballerina:

There were all kinds of musical instruments to play, from walking on a keyboard to playing drums:

I got to go shopping in a miniature grocery store, and I emptied the shelves into my cart... all healthy stuff too!:

I was such a good homemaker in the pretend house:

I pretended to be the postal worker & sorted all the mail in the mailbox (I pretended I was mailing a letter to my daddy at work):

I dressed up like a chef and got to run my own pizza shop! I baked the pizza, used potholders to get it out of the oven VERY carefully, and even got to charge mommy play money to eat in my "yestraunt"!:

I learned about how bones move with "Moveable Mike" & drove an ambulance to help some hurt people!:

I played dress up with some feather boas, and even Emily tried one on!:

There was a HUGE dollhouse that I played with:

I went fishing, and experimented with magnets:

There was a cool wall full of tons of plastic pins that molded to my body:

I spun a wheel that moved a HUGE kaleidoscope, and saw all kinds of flowers & butterflies inside:

After calling 911 on the phone, I got to ride on the fire truck, but I wouldn't sit still long enough for mommy to take my picture...

I think the coolest part was dressing up like a construction worker and "driving" the excavator truck!:

I had a blast, and can't wait to go again with my daddy!

Cute pictures

Mommy snapped a few cute pictures of me before school this morning, and I thought I'd share them with everyone... aren't I getting so big?!?!?!?
