My Cinderella Party!

I had an AWESOME princess party this weekend with my mommy, daddy, baby Emily Paige, Nannie & Grandpa, Aunt Bridget & Uncle Kevin! Nannie came a day early and took me shopping for my birthday present... I got lots of stuff from the Disney Store, but my favorite was my new Cinderella gown that I picked out! Thanks Nannie & Grandpa! Even though mommy, Emily & I were all sick, we still all had a GREAT time!

I had a blast playing my Pretty Pretty Princess game with daddy & Aunt Bridget... even Emily wanted to play with us!

I loved showing everyone how I can read with my new Tag reader from mommy and daddy! They were so impressed!

Everyone was so sweet to bring me gifts. I loved all of them, but I really just wanted to play with my new Tinkerbell figurines from Aunt Bridget and Uncle Kevin!

Grandpa brought me a special birthday cookie and a CHOCOLATE lollipop! It was awesome!

Daddy even bought me my very own bouquet of beautiful flowers! I love my daddy so much...

THEN, YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHO SHOWED UP AT MY PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ELMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was pretty sure I could see someone in there... I thought Elmo ate someone!

Elmo kept trying to take my birthday presents, just like my Uncle Kevin does when he plays Swiper! I wasn't too happy about it, and had to guard all my stuff. Come to think of it... Where WAS Uncle Kevin when Elmo was here??!?!?!??!

Emily wasn't too sure about him, but she didn't cry (well, maybe a few little whimpers)! Maybe he'll come back for her party in a few months!

I'm going to tell Uncle Kevin that Aunt Bridget was kissing Elmo while he was gone...

My favorite part of the party was when I got to have my special princess cake that mommy made for me! It was beautiful!

Thanks everyone for an AWESOME birthday! I can't wait until next year!

Poor baby...

I'm having a rough time these days... I've had a bad cough and runny nose, and now the doctor says I have a bad ear infection too. Mommy isn't feeling good either, so we've been hanging out on the couch together. I tried being happy for a while today, but mommy says I just look miserable... I even fell asleep in my highchair at breakfast AND lunch today. Hopefully I'll be feeling better soon!

Happy Birthday to me!

I'm three, I'm three, I'm three!!!!! Can you believe how fast time flies! I had an awesome day today! Daddy woke me up singing "Happy Birthday", and threw balloons in my bed! Then, I got to open presents (I let Emily baby Paige help me), and we had CUPCAKES for breakfast! After that, I got all dressed up and had a princess party with all my friends from school! We had SO much fun! For dinner that night we went to my birthday restaurant, Fudrucker's, and Emily got to go on the up-and-down horsies with me for the first time! It was an AWESOME birthday!

-Abby

Emily is getting pretty good at opening presents!:

The cupcakes mommy made me were a GREAT breakfast!:

All my friends had a great time... especially when mommy read us a special princess book that had ME and all my friends in the story!

We did a great job decorating our very own princess wands...

I had a blast making our candy necklaces (especially when we got to eat them!):

My friends were so sweet to bring me gifts for my birthday, and I LOVED my name puzzle that Julie's mommy made for me!:

Everyone loved my princess cupcakes...

Even baby Eli came to my party & "dressed up" like a princess!:

The best part of my birthday was our family date when I got to go on the up-and-down horsies with daddy and Emily. I think she had a great time too!

Thanks to everyone for all the phone calls & cards! It was a GREAT day. I think being 3 is going to be my best year yet.... I can feel it!

Cook in training...

I love helping mommy in the kitchen these days... and I'm even making up my own recipes now! I've been talking about trying a peanut butter and banana sandwich for days now, so mommy let me make one for lunch today. In case anyone would like to try this delicious treat, here are the directions...

1. Get on your apron and chef's hat to protect your clothes:

2. Gather your ingredients... You will need 2 pieces of bread, peanut butter, and one banana:

3. Spread out the peanut butter nice and smooth:

4. Cut the banana into even pieces (but be VERY careful because knives can be sharp!):

5. "Pile" the banana slices onto the peanut butter:

6. Close the sandwich and have a grown-up cut it in half:

7. ENJOY! (WARNING: It's not really as good as it looks OR sounds...):

Sick...

Mommy and I both have bad colds, but I'm not letting it slow me down! In fact, I can even wipe my nose myself... I discovered the Kleenex box today!

What's with my kids and glass doors???

I'm not sure what the obsession is with my girls and glass doors, but they both LOVE playing with them! Abby had a blast when she was 10 months old too!

Emily had to "taste" it too! (Look at those eye lashes!):

Beauty parlor & tea parties!

I LOVE playing with my big sister... especially when I get to play big girl things!

My tribute to Haiti

Today, mommy & I were talking about the people in Haiti, and how sad it is that many of the people there don't have anything anymore. As always, I decided to "sing" about the things that they needed, and what I'd like to give to them. I decided to pack up some of my shirts that don't fit me anymore to give to the little girls there, and for a split second, I wanted to send them my TV too...

Daddy loves us...

Daddy brought home flowers for all of us today (well, they were really for mommy, but she loves to share)! We each got to pick out our favorite flowers and make our own bouquet! Thanks daddy... we love you too!

This is just a cute picture of Emily that mommy wanted to share!

Locked up!

Now that I'm getting into EVERYTHING, mommy decided it was time to set up the baby jail again. Lucky for her, I love it as much as my sister did when she was little, and it's even more fun when Abby gets in and plays with me!
